Sanyogita Shamsunder, Ph.D. – Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Sanyogita Shamsunder serves as Chief Technology Officer at GeoLinks, where she leads the company’s technology strategy, network innovation, and product evolution. With over two decades of experience driving transformative connectivity solutions, she has held senior leadership roles at Google, Verizon, and NextNav. Her expertise spans wireless systems, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies, with a proven ability to align technical vision with business growth.
Dr. Shamsunder played a key role in launching Verizon’s nationwide 5G network and later helped define Google Cloud’s global edge strategy, guiding scalable infrastructure design for billions of users. At each stage of her career, she has led the development and deployment of next-generation platforms, built high-performance engineering teams, and helped bring cutting-edge technologies to market at scale. Her leadership supports GeoLinks’ mission to expand fast, affordable, and reliable internet access across enterprise, multi-family, and underserved markets.
She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia, an M.S. from SUNY Stony Brook, a B.E. from Osmania University in India, and an MBA with honors from The Wharton School. In addition to her executive leadership, Dr. Shamsunder serves on several boards and advisory groups, including the Technical Advisory Boards of MaxLinear and American Tower, and the boards of Manavi, NYIT, and Rutgers ECE. She is also an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage technology startups.
