Carl Guardino is Vice President of Government Affairs & Policy at Tarana Wireless, to further Tarana's mission to help bridge the digital divide for unserved and underserved families and locations across the country and around the globe.  Before joining Tarana, Carl spent 24 years as CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and then led global government affairs and policy for Bloom Energy.  Guardino has served the state of California for the past 20 years as one of nine Gubernatorial appointees on the California Transportation Commission, which annually programs and allocates $13 to $15 billion to the state's 482 cities and 58 counties to improve mobility for every community.  Carl and his wife Leslee are runners and triathletes, having competed in 19 Marathons and 3 Ironman-distance triathlons.  Together, they have created and directed four community/charity runs in Silicon Valley that have raised and donated more than $12 million to serve needy families across the region.
