In 2024, the FCC initiated cybersecurity related proceedings such as the Declaratory Ruling and Notice of Proposed Rulemaking after the Salt Typhoon attacks, the rulemaking proceeding related to protecting the Border Gateway Protocol. In its June 2025 new BEAD Policy Notice, NTIA included some cybersecurity requirements. This panel will discuss what you need to know about these new cybersecurity developments.
