Fred Miller serves as Associate General Counsel and Government Affairs Liaison at the Association of American Railroads, where he advises the industry on legal and policy matters. Prior to joining AAR, Fred served in varying roles on the U.S. House of Representatives’ Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, most recently as General Counsel. Prior to his time in the legislative branch, Fred worked in the executive branch, as an Attorney-Advisor the Surface Transportation Board, and in the judicial branch as well. His career in public service was founded upon providing legal and policy advice to high-level government officials. His currently resides in Maryland with his wife and three boys.
