Mike Sanders was appointed Executive Director of the Oklahoma Broadband Office in March 2023, where he leads efforts to enhance broadband access across the state. Before this role, he founded and operated Sanders Strategy and Consulting Group, and served six terms in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, including leadership roles as Chair of the House Utilities Committee and House Majority Leader. Sanders has extensive public service experience, having worked in senior management at the U.S. Department of Agriculture and as Director of Interns in the White House under President George W. Bush. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Christian University and pursued further studies at Georgetown University.
